The kids have been bundled off to my in-laws for an overnight, and tonight we're having friends over for a grown-up dinner party.
Tomorrow, we're going to Michael's cousins' for an open house.
Tomorrow evening, we're celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday with dinner chez Schultz.
Guess who's baking for all three events?

Actually, I think that sounds fun. Please tell us the details. I love baking, but you seem to do it even more than I do. The big cheese studded thing you made recently looked amazing. Do you ever read the blog Smitten Kitchen? You should.
My next cake is going to be Parsnip Cake with Ginger Cream Cheese Icing.
At least we know with certainly that your desserts will be heavenly.
Are you able to enjoy baking as much as you used to? There seems to be a good bit of *enforced baking* in your life now, and I know your energy level is down.
You can make a purdy cake, and real buttercream...pardon me while I swoon.
