Don't drive your car when it is leaking gasoline from the gas tank. Have it towed. Apparently, a spark from the engine could cause an explosion.
I was too busy cursing at the $53 worth of gas that was dripping out onto the pavement to worry about such things, and my mechanic was only about 100 yards away, so I drove. Luckily, I did not combust.
No verdict on the car yet this morning......

OMG! Whatever the fate of the car, it's a damned good thing you didn't combust. Many people would combust themselves over THAT piece of news.
And it's your birthday weekend, too. Be still my heart.
Will remember this for the future. LOL.

OMG, thank goodness you didn't combust!!! Eeek! You must be more careful. Glad you're ok, hope the repairs on the car aren't too upsetting and have a wonderful, SAFE birthday weekend in NY!

Safe, Ann said safe and that's a good idea. A really excellent idea, in fact.
