Have I mentioned that my younger brother, in addition to his awesome deck-building skills, is a very talented tie-dye artist? He kept himself in pizza and beer all through college selling his gorgeous creations, first at Grateful Dead concerts, later on campus and finally on consignment at
head shops boutiques down on South Street.
When I started gearing up the fundraising this fall, he got out his dyes.
The t-shirts are Hanes Beefy-Tees, the tank tops are ribbed, the rompers have snap crotches (and if you've never seen a toddler in a tie-dyed romper, BRACE YOURSELF for the cute).
Each is one-of-a-kind, hand-made wearable art. Care could not be easier -- the dyes are 100% color-fast; you might want to take extra care with the first washing, but all of these garments can be treated like any other laundry. Adult sizes (including tanks) are $20, rompers are $15.
