I was actually contemplating taking him (a TWELVE YEAR OLD) to a dermatologist (or even to get a frocking facial). But! When I picked the kids up last night after work, the area around the blackhead was inflamed and red and swollen in a way I'd never seen before, and I seized the moment. Within 10 seconds of his emerging from his nightly shower I snatched him unceremoniously and squeezed the mofo. Poof. Gone.
To say that Quin was put out with me would perhaps be soft-pedalling ever-so-slightly; the site oozed and pussed and was generally fascinatingly unattractive for several minutes.
