Moral Conundrum

Would it be cheating to take a sick day when I'm not really sick but feel like I'm getting sick and very much don't want to be sick because Michael and I are going away for the weekend and hope that lying in bed all day might prevent me from getting sick?

Anyone?....

No. Not cheating at all if you use it to do what you are supposed to do and sleep it off. My hubby came home sick on Monday, went to sleep at 2pm, got up at 7, and was back in bed and asleep by 9. He felt great the next day.
If you take the rest of today, or all of tomorrow, the office gets a Better You before you go away. Everybody wins! The trick is, you really, truly have to sleep.

Who takes a sick day as a real sick day anymore?

So not cheating.

Enjoy! Where are you going this weekend?

You know how you plan ahead for all kinds of things so that you'll be ready when the time comes? Of course you do.

So what's different about planning ahead to be healthy?

Thanks for comments on my intermittent posts...

Totally not cheating. Stay in bed, drinks tons, sleep tons and watch bad tv. Do nothign else. You'll be right as rain in the morning.

So...what did you decide?

I toughed it out on Wednesday but bailed early on Thursday. Actually slept for an hour or so prior to dinner and cleaning the entire house so we can go away this weekend.
