Fallout

So.

It could have been much worse -- only one employee out of 30-some went bananas and started acting in a wholly unprofessional manner. Luckily, I was not in the room at the time, or I might have smacked her. But everyone else understood the need for the temporary salary cuts and is committed to the program.

There is no telling how long the cuts will last, though my guess is that it will be a minimum of three months. I've got some ideas and irons in the fire to fill that income gap for my family, but meanwhile! Exciting stuff! Except I really shouldn't write about it, except I will say that it relates to the high level music industry meetings that Michael abandoned me for went to LA for last week. It's VERY VERY exciting, and no, I'm still not jinxing it.

But if anyone wants to suggest dresses in case I have to go to the Grammys, that would be okay....

Sorry to hear about the downturn at work.

Ugh. These times we are living in are scary.

Things could have been worse, but I'm sorry everything was so drawn out. It seems that things were handled pretty well, and I hope this economy improves soon.

As for dresses, think expensive -- Nordstrom's or Neiman Marcus, I suggest. If there are small exculsive shops left, you might know about them -- I'm way out of the loop. :)

I was going to say that Nordstrom's. Big sale going on!

Would it be a faux pas to buy a dress this year for NEXT year's Grammys?... Decisions, decisions.

That DID seem like short notice. Sigh.
It's never a faux pas to buy a dress.

Oy. Bossy only likes the word 'cut' as it applies to hair.
