In Cake News...

Believe it or now, I have actually been doing a little more besides working the new job and obsessing about kidney function.

Like cakes!

This bat mitzvah cake was fun to do. The party had a stars and moons theme, so I used tinted white chocolate to pipe out some decorations for the cake.

I also did a cake for a joint anniversary/birthday-of-the-husband party. Dual-themed cakes are hard to pull off, but I rather like how this one turned out.

Garrick's birthday was the same weekend as the above order, so his birthday cake was decorated with the same colors and tips. Hey, a baker's gotta do what a baker's gotta do.
