Coup de Vieux

So I ran over to Urban Outfitters yesterday to pick up a pair of gaudy earrings to wear to an event tonight, and there were sale racks out front. I found a cute top with spaghetti straps, empire lines, and enough length that one need not worry about exposing one's belly to the world, so I brought it in to try on. The nice (young) salesgirl greeted me perkily and said "Oh, did you want to try on that dress?"

I decided to stick to earrings.
