Self-Pity-Free Zone

Thanks to all for the comments and encouragement. Today I spoke with an Alexander Technique teacher, and while we decided that I'm probably a bit acute right now for Alexander to provide much immediate relief, she was helpful and encouraging and gave me the name of a good physical therapist. I just may take her home and ply her with baked goods in my gratitude.

So, progress will come, and I have determined to stop with the whining and find something else to post about. Look! A cute puppy:

Theo loves empty tonic bottles, yes he does. And I harvested the last of the garden bounty this weekend:

Celeriac, which I planted on a whim. Now, what do I do with it?......

A cute puppy is always a nice distraction.
Your celeriac looks like it's from mars. Julia says to braise or to julienne it and serve cold as a salad - very French.
Let me know if you want detailed recipes. I expect you know it needs a lot of cleaning and peeling. heh, heh
I say complain if you want - after all, it's your blog.

I found the Alexander Technique to be very helpful once I was out of severe pain. In my cast accupuncture did this for me. Then, AT lessons made a huge difference in my life. Their website at http://alexandertechnique.com is very useful.

Celeriac. That would be salady stuff?

And I agree - you go on and complain all you want. I like to vent in cyberspace so I don't vent all over my family. It's called the Halushki Technique. No charge for using it.

I'm glad you talked to the AT teacher and got a referral to a physical therapist. Sounds like you need that BEFORE you do anything else, even yoga. Can you get your doctor to write you a 'scrip for the PT so your insurance will cover it?

Theo is looking very cute! :-)

Its your blog, and you can whine if you want to...sorry very bad paraphrasing of an already tacky song, but the sentiment is there!! I did like the puppy distraction - surveys show that fuzzy little animals attract viewers, so have at!
